If you’re a fan of smoky flavors, then you’ll love this recipe for smoked oyster mushrooms. Smoking adds a rich, deep flavor profile to these already delicious mushrooms, creating a savory and satisfying dish.

Ingredients:
1 lb oyster mushrooms
½ cup olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp dried thyme

Instructions:
  1. Preheat your smoker to 250° F, following the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Trim any tough ends of the oyster mushroom stem if needed. Leave the oyster mushrooms in one or multiple large clusters.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, salt, pepper, and spices. Taste the marinade and adjust seasonings as desired.
  4. Pour the oil and spice mixture over the oyster mushrooms in a bowl.
  5. Toss the mushrooms gently to ensure they are evenly coated.
  6. Place the mushrooms on the smoker rack and smoke mushrooms for approximately 40-60 minutes, or until they are tender and turning a darker color.
  7. Once the mushrooms are done smoking, remove them from the smoker and transfer to a serving plate. Serve as a side dish with fresh chopped herbs, a topping for salads or sandwiches, or incorporate them into other recipes where a smoky element is desired.

Note: The smoking time may vary depending on the size and thickness of the mushrooms and the type of smoker you are using. Keep an eye on them during the smoking process to prevent overcooking.
